Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Eternally grateful.

 

Well that was bloody quick ! I only ordered it on Monday and I got it on Wednesday. Brilliant. It is superb. The cover is beautiful, mysterious and utterly charming. I really like Neil's artwork, I'm eager to see a lot more. Has he thought of publishing any pieces or producing some prints ? The disc has a wonderful selection of tracks. Many of them I'm already familiar with, but some new (old !) treasures. The way Neil captures the ordinariness of life is without parallel, as typified by Montana Cafe and Three Piece Suite. Lyrics are woven together with such deftness and intelligence that they leave me spellbound . Neil says a lot of things for me - things that I notice, but I haven't got time or ability to express. It's nice to know that someone else shares my observations. When I first heard Tinsel and String I was fifteen and it made a heavy impact on me. Hearing it again now only serves to deepen my feelings about the message in the song. I like the live version of Love is Getting Deeper - very funny - but being a completist anorak I'd still like to hear the studio version from the IBoR record. Any chance ? I'm a teacher and this disc turned up during the middle of an Ofsted inspection week - it has cheered me up immensely, so thanks to you, Neil and everyone involved.

 

How wonderful this is especially I Give Myself To You ... What a FANTASTIC sounding track, that's my favorite song on earth and you guys did it better than ever.

 

Thank you for your quick correspondence. I have received a packet (RECOLLECTIONS 2) yesterday. And I deeply appreciate your works. In Japan, Innes's records are hard to get. I've always wanted to listen to his music. Last month, fortunately he came to Japan for his tour. I think he is a brilliant artist. and now I have a RECOLLECTION1/2. Anytime I can listening to his music. It's thankful for me.
